Consultation & Visual Assessment
If you suspect the presence of ACMs inside your home, contact us. Our experienced surveyors perform a detailed visual examination of your home. We check out common areas where asbestos may be present, including insulation, flooring, or ceiling tiles. Our team follows EPA and OSHA guidelines to ensure inspections meet safety standards, and we use specialized tools to identify areas susceptible to the presence of ACMs.
Sampling & Identification
After identifying spaces that may have ACMs contaminating your homes air, we will take air samples using our air pumps and specialized filters (from key areas, including high-traffic zones and suspected ACM spots). This is done with utmost care to create a air sample for our labs to analyze and determine if the suspected ACMs are in fact contributing to poor air quality in the home.
Lab Analysis & Reporting
Advanced methods are used to analyze these samples in the laboratory. PCM (Phase Contrast Microscopy) analyzes the air samples to count the airborne asbestos fibers. After lab analysis, a detailed report is generated, including information on the presence of asbestos, its condition, and recommendations for safe management or removal. If asbestos is detected, we will guide you on hiring certified abatement professionals and monitoring air quality to maintain a safe living environment.
