Home » Indoor Air Quality Assessment
You’re extremely hygienic, you keep your belongings meticulously clean, and your home’s surfaces are glossy. Great.
But what about your home’s air? On average, indoor air is 2 to 5 times more polluted than outside. This gets even worse with bad ventilation because your home traps moisture that grows mold. In addition to mold, carbon monoxide, and asbestos (for houses built before the 1980s) are also responsible for poor indoor air quality.
CleanOne Environmental’s experts use the right tools to detect if your indoor air contains any of these pollutants and then recommend an action plan to ensure your family breathes in clean air.
Get peace of mind by knowing what’s in your air and how to eliminate pollutants.
If you’ve noticed any signs of poor air quality, such as unpleasant odors, recurrent cough, shortness of breath, or unexplained allergic reactions, contact our experts. We’ll ask you for details that help us tailor the assessment.
Once we’re at your location, we’ll conduct a visual inspection to identify all the areas of concern. This will help plan the actual assessment.
We test your home’s air for mold, carbon monoxide, and asbestos. Each has a different procedure.
We test your home’s air for mold spores. For this, we place the air sampling equipment in different areas of your home to collect samples.
We use a calibrated carbon monoxide detector in your kitchen, hearth, and other areas that have gas pipelines in them.
If you’re in a home built before the 1980s, we’ll check its air for asbestos. We’ll collect samples from appropriate areas.
All samples are sent to verified labs for analysis. This analysis confirms the presence, concentration, and type (in the case of mold) of the pollutant.
Once we have this data, we compile a detailed report that explains what these findings mean and what steps you can take to ensure cleaner, healthier air in your home.
